The worst thing about starting a new job (especially one that I currently know nothing at all about, due to the fact that they haven't given me a job description or anything, I don't even know how much money the job pays) is what to wear.
Now working in TV was great I could just go in whatever I wanted, combats, jeans you name it. Working in an office, that was quite easy formal trousers and a shirt, not especially comfy but at least I knew what was expected. What do you wear to work in a school. Now I'll be working with 11 year olds which is not an age group I'm familiar with (apart from my nephew but I some how doubt that I could win over a whole class of them by letting them stay up late and watch Shaun of the dead) but I expect there will be some crouching down to talk to them and possibly messy paining etc. So ideally I want to wear my cords and a T-Shirt or jumper as they all was easily and my cords are dead comfy for crouching, But I don't know if I can wear them, I guess I'll wear them to the training day tomorrow and see what they say. The Teaching Assitants at the school I voulenteerd at seemed to wear jeans but I'm just self concious about what I wear. Sod it I need to be able to do the job and I'm not planning on wearing stuff that will stop me doing that (Unfortunatly I may have to wear real shoes which is a problem as I love my pink ones).
Ashley is annoyed with me. I was looking at teacher training sites and found out that if I don't get on to the GTP then I will be able to get the same money as (I think) I'm on now to do a PGCE and then I can teach and earn us good money, so I said this to Ashley who then decided that I should ask him if I was allowed to do it!! Like he's my dad or something so now he's off in a strop as I was trying to work out the quickest way for me to start to earn some good money but thats offensive to him because I didn't ask for his permission. Men!
The Challenge is on as to what the hell as Hot Skull is. I went to bed so I didn't see what the other 3 answers were but as one of the correct ones was Hot Skull I'm guessing they could have been anything, Hot Tree, it makes as much sense as Hot Skull. Please someone put me out of my mysery what the hell is a Hot Skull???
